There was nothing in the bag, so I presume some crackhead stole it from some young asian girl, took the stuff from the inside, and chucked the bag, not knowing it was worth 100x the contents of the bag.
Don't know if its real or not, but I'm too lazy to take it to the LV on Alberni and Burrard, so I will post it in the classifieds for cheap in a few days.
Was thinking of giving it to someone as a gift, but its got a little wear on it, so that won't work.
Woohoo Work!
PS: I also found 12$ in cash that night...hooray for liking my job :)

Totally skeeetttch.
About a year ago when I used to work for CM there was a thief going around the mall breaking into the staff back rooms and busting into people's lockers and stealing their bags and the contents in it. One of the keyholder's wallet was stolen and they tried to bust into my locker.... unsuccessfully
They took everything in her wallet (excluding ID) and maxed out her credit card... and chucked her wallet on some street downtown. Some kind gentleman found her wallet and brought it back to our store (it had her club monaco id card in it so he knew where to find her) The same thief broke into the staff room of Bentley's the same day.. and tried to break into the backroom of the Robson CM only a few days afterwards.
You're probably right about it being a theft.... I feel sorry for whomever had their bag stolen.... Then again.. if it does belong to someone who works in one of the retail shops, it's a harsh lesson not to bring your valuables to work.
