The new experiment with the Sedins and Nassy sounded pretty good. However this would be stupid to do during the season. I hope they dont stick with this later. Will this line be crazy? Probably but putting all our eggs in one basket like that will hurt us badly. Our second line will be alot weaker and other teams will just have to put out their shutdown line against them. I much rather have 2 good lines then 1 really good and 1 avg at best. Of course if we have a 2nd line of Mo, Bulis, and Pyatt it could have a chance of being good also. Never know they might click. But i wouldnt count on it too much rite now. We'll see i guess as long as we win i dont care what our lines are really.

i know i was so sad not to see ma boyz (bertuzzi and rutu)
i went to the game on sunday.. pretty entertaining for the most part. we sat so close we could practically smell them.. (btw i am so in love with naslund) god he's pretty.. ummm and it looks like this season is all about the sedins from what i've seen so far. |

Sedins are peaking. No matter who plays with them I think that person is gonna have a decent to a career year ala Carter type.
p.s: I think Naslund is gonna try harder this year. He doesnt' have many years left in the tank and Morisson better put up better numbers for the price he is making. |

^ its pre-season still. Some players like Naslund are still getting their touch and timing for passes and all that down pat.
San Jose has a good team. Just like last year. They have the league's current MVP and Points Leader in Joe Thorton. They also have quite a few players with a scoring touch so they will again be a good team this year who should easily make the playoff's. Since they will be starting with thorton in the team this year |

Yea we have a good chance to win. Pre-season games are a good indicator of how were going to be in the regular season, but its really the last week of pre-season games that really indicate it.
not sure if there are gonn abe fights. canucks don't really have many fighters left. ever since brashear we havn't really had one. Even brookbank, reid whoever weren't the same as brashear was. |

are you on drugs? Do you know what the preseason in hockey is all about? It is not about putting all your star players on the ice at one time like you do in the regular season. It is about deciding who goes where in the line up, what chemistry amongst the players will be, and of course letting your rookies see how well they can square off against their pro opposition. I dare you to follow up what happens with bertuzzi in florida this season, and maybe florida won't be a dominant team because they have bertuzzi...Just some food for thought :)

^ they got nothing on Brashear. Not to mention if cooke is gonna be a first liner which i am starting to doubt now bu t if he is. He can't really be a fighter for our team. He can be physical but we can't have a first liner sitting in the penalty box for 5 minutes.
p.s: another reason we don't use many star players is as antenna boy did say its to see who doesn't belong on the team and what not the regulars are just that regulars. imagine if naslund, ohlund, salo, sedins, and all our best players got injured in the first pre-season game of the year. that would basically destroy half our season |
