you tell me buddy. you're packing heat in a house with baseball bats every where. all while living in what you call a quiet neighbourhood. screams grow-op or crack holding type place. and of course it's out in the sticks
and you can't get a security system because of the electrical in the house. yea i'm way out of line. maybe drink less coffee, cut down on the meth and consider seeing a shrink for whatever crazy shit caused you to be so scared of the world. /dr phil hat off. |

Whenever I hear of something like this I tell people this story, because it sucks so bad it makes you feel better for about 30 seconds.
I spent 2005 travelling around Australia. My boyfriend at the time and I bought a stationwagon and a tent and drove all over the country. One morning we climbed out of the tent to find the doors to the car open. Now, understand that absolutely everything we owned was in that car...it was our house. That morning it was empty. they took: -all my money (in my purse, stupidly) -my digital camera along with all the photos -my new (to me) canon manual camera, with lenses, filters, film, etc -my large backpack and 2 smaller backpacks including: all my shoes, all my makeup, all my jewellery, all the souvenirs and gifts I had bought (including the gorgeous opal earrings I had bought in coober Pedy for my mom's birthday...I hadn't mailed them because I was worried about them getting lost, go figure), all of my clothes -my lovely $125 Akubra cowboy hat -Ryan's Mastercard -Ryan's large backpack -Ryan's small backpack -all of Ryan's clothes -my cellphone -mysteriously, my knitting -disturbingly, all my clothes off the clothesline We were literally left in a foreign country with no money at all, no credit cards, no food, no clothes. All I had were my pajamas, sleeping bag, a pair of jeans, a tshirt and some flipflops. That was it. We had to get jobs in a crab meat processing factory to be able to eat! So I know it sucks having to replace that stuff, and I know you feel violated, but at least they didn't steal your underwear! :) |

I'd rather have a gun and not use it then need a gun and not have one. Last edited by neoh; Oct 07, 06 at 04:11 PM. |
