Van vs. Oil part II
Well they both have to fly over to Edmonton to go for round 2. Im thinkin both teams will be a bit tired, will go to a 2-2 tie .. then we'll win in shootouts.
my predictions are never right, but y'know. On rogers sportsnet @ 6pm pacific. thoughts? |

I don't know this is very hard to predict.
All I know is that Edmonton will come out strong and we won't be getting as many shots on net as we did last night so we have to play with a lot of intensity much like last night. I take Edmonton to win this one, but we'll see. |

as much as i hate to say it, i think edmonton is going to win tonight.
not that i want them to win (in fact i hope they don't), but they seem to do really well with their fans behind them. as much as i hate the oilers, i think they are going to be in the top 5 in home wins in the NHL this year. i just hope luongo does not allow any huge rebounds, otherwise the oilers will capitalize on them. my prediction: 3-2 oilers, no overtime. |

I'll go against the concensus and say 3-2 canucks in a close game.
If it goes to a shootout I have no faith in the Canucks even with Naslund who isn't a very good shooter in the shootout. I would rather it be decided in regulation plus points are very important when its a division rival. So 2 points for us and 0 for oilers is alot better than us winning in a shootout and gaining only one more point for a long game. |

I know eh. We should have give Wade another chance.
This guy Savorin or whatever his name is record is 0-4. I don't care if he was the AHL rookie of the year or goalie of the year. Those two goals were super weak. |
