I don't see a huge difference between any of the major banks, I think all of them are just as capable of fucking you over, maybe in different ways, but still!
I've been with CIBC since I was wee, and I don't really love them or hate them, I've had a few bad experiences in the past by going to certain branches..I pay over $40 a month in service fees, but I've always had incredible service when I call in. I'd switch, but I don't really think it's going to be that different anywhere else. |

ive been with coast capital since before they were coast capital and were surrey metro savings.i <3 coast capital.free checking is fucking great and on the rare occasion that i have to go into the bank to do banking the service is grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat.
Not to mention at my branch they only hire hot chicks. |

Lack of an actual bank is a big one for me.
I like being able to talk to an actual person, not some PC sales representative. And no, CIBC doesn't count for PC. I still had to bring in cash to pay any bills through them, and every time I went into a CIBC they reiterated to me that I did not in fact own a CIBC bank account and wasn't really allowed to use their teller services (just their ABMs). This was even after I got a piece of mail saying CIBC was fully buying out PC Financial. |
