...maybe thats why the water at my work is all foggy and yellowish brown :(. I noticed the colour in the toilets, so i tried flushing them and they filled up with dirty water again...I checked the fossets too by filling up the sinks to check the colour of the water and it was the same as the toilets :( icky

Not yet... I've pre-announced it to the FNK members. I was just emailed a while ago from the Health Board. The announcement will go out soon to the general public via media extensions. Websites have updated. Perks of running a hospital :) |

At this moment in time I am thinking that all those people who sells the
water bottles at raves (For like 8 dollars a little bottle) should be out there ripping consumers off right now!!! I mean...talk about overpricing water bottles :( Good thing I drink well water :) I feel well too :) |

The Province Newspaper on Water Problem...
By Kent Spencer, The Province
Published: Thursday, November 16, 2006 A boil water advisory has been issued for the entire Greater Vancouver Area. Vancouver Coastal Health spokesman Viviana Zanocco said Thursday the warning was issued because Wednesday's storm dumped large amounts of dirt and mud in the region's three reservoirs. "We've never seen turbidity this high," she said. The entire region is affected, but the problem is worst on the North Shore. The health region is advising hospitals, care facilities and restaurants to change the way they prepare food. Water should be boiled for one minute, then cooled thoroughly before drinking. Or persons should drink bottled water. The ban applies to brushing teeth and washing food. Showers are okay. Zanocco said she doesn't know how long the ban will last. Persons drinking water are at risk of suffering diarrhea and vomiting because bacteria is present in the water.
