correction sweety..I made the thread, but I also made a post. And um...sorry about the 5 pm thing...I was probably thinking pre-game shpiel....oh, and btw, the pregame did mention something about how some people were getting off the wagon..so this thread is just right. However, I agree with Grapes. I should have mentioned the consideration that people pay more attention to the game when canucks are winning. However,

My view is this. I am on the canucks bandwagon..but when I constructively criticize the team, it does not mean I get off the bandwagon. Even if I dont watch some of their games does not mean I have left the building. "We are all canucks" at heart (notice the new canucks' slogan?). And when they are on a losing skid, I can honestly tell you I won't be rushing to the nearest t.v. to watch them as my interest fluctuates with the team's performance on the ice. With that said, the canucks are down 2-0...not a good way to start. You can see that the whole team is struggling. I am making an assumption that Sabourin's performance destroyed the confidence of the canuck players. And with Daniel Sedin out...Henrik is having a hard time cycling in the corner with any line mate. This one will need a miracle come back like the game they had versus detroit: where the real heart and potential came out of the canucks when each player thought on the same page as their team-mates. I only quotes Grapes to show that not everyone is a bandwagon fan. The last line was suppose to be directed at Antenna.... Last edited by KenJi; Nov 25, 06 at 10:36 PM. |

So I have a question I am a Canuck fan for life and I always cheer them on, but I also like the Sabres alot. I have been cheering them since last year.
So what do you consider that>? Jumping from one bandwagon to another? lol i think i just like hockey as a whole. |

I didn't vote cause there's no option for "I don't give a rat's ass about hockey in general, let alone a shitty team like the Canucks, who only has fans when they play well and even then all you hear is bitching about how they could be playing better, coming from fat lazy morons who refer to the Canucks as "our team" or say shit like "we had a good game tonight, but we could have done better" as though they think they are actually on the Canucks or had some significant influence on the team's performance that night, when in actuallity they are just some douche-bag living vicariously through a bunch of pussies who will never bring home the Stanley cup, and instead will bring home a dirty old cup of Kokanee, that has been pissed in by a real hockey fan, who obviously doesn't live in B.C. because we don't have hockey fans in B.C, we have band-wagon jockeys, hence the basis of this entire thread."
I know I'm gonna get some bad karma for this, so fuck you in advance. |

^ SATAN!!
Satan and Peca came later. The Sabres when they had Pat Lafontain and Mogiliny together were dynamite. Mogiliny got 76 goals!!! Too bad Lafontains career ended so early. Still he made all the hall of fames and most would consider him the trevor linden of the Sabres franchise except a more offensively talented version loll. |

^I just think that Trevor Linden would have been just as good as Laffontaine should the organization not traded him and also signing dumbass-Lays Potatochips-they call "moose"-Mark (messier than my room-)Messier didn't help either. Linden's career "ended" when he got traded. No matter what, even if Linden does not produce as much as other players on the ice, he makes a bigger impact off the ice with all the charitable contributions to our society which in turn, makes the canucks organization even stronger. He is a veteran.
But actually..when Almo came here and tagged up with Bure, it made our team look like a powerhouse. These two were highlight point-getters. Imagine Almo, Bure, Naslund, Sedin, Sedin, Pyatt, Morrison(cuz he is actually doing better now), Bertuzzi (if that incident did not happen with Colorado), Ohlund, Salo, Mitchell, Bieksa(solid D-"Wall"), Luongo, (and now I wish we still had Jovanovski and Carter->cuz he actually was playing good *with the twins*) That roster would be a 1-would have made the Legion of Doom look bad.
