White Spot.
I think they might soak them in water or do something like that, before frying them, makes them a bit crispier on the outside. Also the fries are thicker than the competition. The Tuesday deal at the Chevron Whitespots is good (burger + fries $3.33) and they play not-bad music. Last edited by beedub; Nov 29, 06 at 02:41 PM. |

Fritz is good. Almost too good. i stay away from there.
Ferris' Oyster Bar in Victoria rates, assuming it's still the same as it was several years ago when i last ate there. The yam & potato fries combo w/ garlic mayo was my favorite for a long time. |

and it's just around the corner from your shop. that would be torturous for me.
everytime i came to grab records i went & grabbed either a medium fries & dip or a medium poutine. (finally finished saving for my vacation & i'm back now, it's time for me to start buying records again!) |

it's disturbing to me how many people prefer heavily processed, completely artifically flavored foods over the real thing. ie, mcdonalds fries. the flavor of mcdonalds fries has been entirely synthesised with chemicals since the early 90s when they stppped cooking them in beef tallow.
