Goodbye Cigarettes?

Well it's been 5 days since I've had a cigarette.

Yeah as pathetic as it seems that's very good for me.
I was only smoking a pack a day, but to just quit like that was hard for me.

So lets hope I can continue this.

ahhh yesss the good old i wanna quit phase, all i can say is good luck :) its hard and i know u dont need me to say tht cus u probly hear it alot. Im not a smoker but those prime times Wow! i know im gonna get suckered in lol

Hey man you can do it no problem.. i havnt smoked for 6 weeks straight.. no puffs, drags, sniffs, whatever.. i am so happy that i think i have finally done it.. I can breath deeper.. More energy and i think i may be starting to put a little weight back on becuase of it.. And i could use a few extra pounds. I definetly feel much better now..

Go with it man.. whats the point in getting cancer and shit like that is it really worth it.

good luck mang, i managed to do it for four months. It gets easier...trust me. but you'll never forget how much you loved it, and that can be the end of all your hard work. stick to it

I know right now Im gonna crack when I drink, but the thought of buying another pack disgusts me. Keep it up..

dude, 80% of smokers start because their parents smoke... so you can't judge smokers for starting to smoke... its all about the environmen around them, if everyone around you smokes since you're young, chances are you're gonna start smoking.

you know what ... 5 days ... 5 months whatever.
i smoked for 5 years... quite for a year... and now for some stupid reason, am "socially smoking" which isnt really socially smoking cuz i catch myself buying packs and smoking on my own maybe like twice a day ... i cant even write about this without wanting a smoke. a year! and now i'm back to it... sheesh

5 days is a lot, it is very very hard at first, but stick in there. Its very easy if you just dont think about it. you can chew gum! anything to keep your mind off of it.

last cig i had was a week ago yesterday, and i plan onkeeping that.
i may be a social smoker, but i give in easily to that......now that i won't be always around people who smoke, i'm done.

day 3 begins.

had some HUGE cravings last night but now it seems like every hour that goes by it's getting easier and easier.

i still haven't attempted to have a beer or a few mixed drinks yet though, that's going to be tough, drinking and no smoking urg.

yup, im just a quitter.

quit blazing like a few weeks ago, got over that no problem.

then decided to attack the no drinking/no smoking or as my brother calls it 'the you've quit everything FUN'. i think he's still a bit pissed off because he lost one of his best drinking buddies :)

The scary thing is that statistics show it's harder to quit smoking than to quit using heroin.
Im cutting back, my goal's to quit by jan 1.
I need a date to push myself too.
Im thinking I might try the gum or patch.
Cold turkey's hard when almost all your friends smoke.
