LG Chocolate VX8500

Since I lost my razr last week, I am in the market for a new phone. I was going to get another razr since it has done me good for the past year.. But I think I have fallen in love with the new chocolate phone by LG. Does anyone have this phone.. is it worth the 300 bucks ?

^ Good advice, I would trust Samsung if you want to get a phone that lasts a long time. I've had two samsung phones that lasted me a long time, they can really take a beating and still work great.

I normally like motorola phones.. It's either this one or the razr again.. There are probably cases for this one to stop from getting scratches and stop the paint from coming off. Thats what I love about sim phones, if I dont like it after a while I can just switch it over.

SIM phones are a worldwide standard... we just happen to live in a place where they still have shitty providers like TELUS who use old technology *CDMA* which limits what phones people can have.

FIDO/ROGERS you can buy any phone and use it, not just the crap they offer through signing contracts, etc.

check cellworldco.com they have a xmas sale on, plus the new sliding motorola razr phone just came out too, it looks pretty cool

Uh - You have this completely backwords - GSM may be more widely used world wide - but it is the OLDER of the two technologies and shows in its data speed capabilities right now.

d900 is slow for texting and has a slow OS in general.. otherwise it's a good phone.

The one Telus carries has a memory card slot....this review is for a different phone. disregard.

The LG8500 from telus is pretty loaded with features...it's compatible with the mobile TV, satellite radio, has an mp3 playlist, web browsing capable, GPS-enabled, camera with zoom and adjustable settings, video, bluetooth, speakerphone, voice dialing...
