my new job

It's not the best job in the world, the pay's not as much as I'd like, and it's definitely not what I want to be doing but for right now it's great. :)
It's really nice to be working at a place that allows you some personal freedoms while at work- such as wearing what you want (within reason of course), you're allowed to surf the net a bit and you can answer your cell phone (during evening shifts/when it's slow). And as an added bonus I get along really well with everyone. :D


**edit- and even when I'm doing most of the call taking it's still pretty easy.

Sandra - I'm working for a taxi company taking calls. :) On the weekend graveyard shift we're way too busy to allow for any slacking. And it can get really stressful, but for the most part it's fine.

Exactly. After 60 days if I choose to stay then I become part of a union and the pay goes up $2.60. hehe

No actually it's not. Union makes about $5/hour more than non union in construction.

Right now I am stuffing my face with wraps n veggies and drinking wine provided by the company for those of us working the night shift. :) To top it off, I even got a small Xmas bonus!!
