MIDI ringtones aren't loud enough

On my phone, I've loaded a bunch of MIDI files and tried them as ringtones and none of them are even half as loud as the preloaded ones on there. Is there a way of making them louder before I put load them into the phone? Do I have to go into a midi editing program and turn up the velocities to the max? That's the only way I see of doing it but any other methods are welcome. And yes, my phone's speaker volume was on maximum when I was trying them out, including maximum volume on the files themselves.

I think polyphonic ringtones are midi files.... I am not sure though,
I always cut like 30 seconds out of a song and load the mp3 up my phone and that´s my ringtone. It´s pretty loud.

Ah yeah, polyphonic ringtones are midi files...

I haven't uploading any mp3s yet but it's only with the midi files so far that I noticed a very low volume. On my friend's phone, the exact same midi files are 5 times louder than on mine. :(

well it depends on the phone.... I remember midi files playing louder on a panasonic than they did on a motorola... But it can be also the model type. Try with mp3´s. you can make your own ringtones cutting the best parts of your favorite songs... ( don´t do it with hardcore music, it seems like people around you aren´t happy with it. )

NO, HAVING SATISFACTION AS YOUR RINGTONE DOES NOT MAKE YOU EDGY.

NOR DOES DO YOU THINK I'M SEXY MAKE YOU WITTY.

IN FACT, IF YOUR PHONE DOES ANYTHING OTHER THAN RING I'M BASICALLY SAYING YOU'RE A PUD
