Winter Blahs? Feel Inspired.
Winter Blahs can make anyone feel like they're just wasting their time doing the same thing, day in day out. It's hard to feel motivated, excited or even happy about your life. That job of yours. Your family. Your debt. Your dreams.
I was snooping around and found this tiny little book on success. I thought I'd share some thoughts with you in hopes on cheering you up just a little :) And hopefully getting you a little more motivated about life. "See problems as opportunities for growth and self mastery" "Don’t work for a company led by someone of questionable character" "Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Louis Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein" "When starting out, don’t worry about not having enough money. Limited funds are a blessing, not a curse. Nothing encourages creative thinking in quite the same way." "Never give up on what you want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts." "Your mind can hold only one thought at a time. Make it a positive and constructive one." |

"Be willing to loose a battle in order to win the war"
"Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it" "Acquire things the old fashioned way: Save for them and pay cash" "Decide to wake up 30 minutes earlier. Do this for one year, and you will add seven and one half days to your waking world" |

yea and its good to remember that happiness isnt a place that you arrive after getting "x" amount of stuff (ie, house, car, stereo, etc), its your outlook on the situation that is already in front of you.. anyone can be happy. |

r u kidding... i just thought it would be nice to share.. my job is not easy by any means my dear. I'm an executive assistant to the CEO.... he's head of three companies, and on countless boards.. try to keep someone like that organized and you'll need alot more than a few sayings and pretty pictures to keep u sane. |

You were asking for quotes that motivate. I was giving one that motivates me. I'm more of the philosophy that feel-good sentiments are pretty useless when you don't feel good. More than anything, they'll just piss you off or strike you as cliche, no matter how well-intentioned they may seem. |

If you really want to overcome this, I suggest you eat a banana and take some vitamin supplements. Stretching and maintaining an active lifestyle will also help you avoid this since our bodies become accustomed to inactivity. Last edited by tiedye; Jan 19, 07 at 08:57 AM. |
