They love Tim Hortons because its Canadian!

I like starbucks for speciality coffees, but Tim Hortons has GREAT coffee. =)

How long have you lived out east? Do you like it?

My boyfriend and I are thinking of heading to the maritimes for a little vacation next fall. I hear its amazing out there!

no they like it cause its cheap....tim hortons is brown water.....

its nice....ppl are super nice....its pretty hardly ever rains...and it hasn't been that cold lately......Halifax reminds me of vancouver alot... i've been here since late nov.

I usually only get mochas and french vanillas at Timmy's though. Those hot smoothee things were super yummy too!

Timmys also used to actually bake their donughts on site. Thats not the case since Wendy's bought them out.

4 (Chilliwack) I can walk to 2 of them plus Tim's in 5 minutes.

But I go to a nicer place that has a "happy hour" (half prices) and less commercial.

Starbucks does have better newspapers and music though.

I've read the book by the founder of Starbucks. After reading it I agree with his principles and way of conducting business. He gets critisized a lot, and I understand his book is written by him therefore bias. But I think he is different from other large corperations. I think you're undertsand after reading "pour your heart into it"

it's a good story how he grew up with no education in a poor family in a poor neighborhood and started a mega empire

I live Burrard and Robson so I have 1000000 Starbucks nearby. On my trip I've seen Starbucks in Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai & Koh Samui) and there's rumors of it coming here to India
