it'd be nice to see some of this being used in action/scifi etc. movies instead of the crappy looking "cgi slowmotion" effect.

Doing the slow-mo sequences in CGI gives directors the ability to tweak the shots. Imagine how much it would suck shoting the same scene over and over again with a high-speed camera until you got it right.

Regardless, I totally want these clips in hi-def for a screensaver
