Sydney is the ultimate party city IMO.. I was in Tokyo and London as well, but Sydney was just off the charts when it came to amazing shows to check out.

I've been to paris, that was cool, but a bit stuffy. London had a cool vibe but again wasn't *totally* my style of living. Not saying I didn't love both, but Sydney just seems so chillax+fresh.

sydney's club scene is amazing.
you can party from friday to monday morning almost non stop at different clubs.

The scene in Sydney compared to Vancouver is like night and day. Everyone's always up for it there, partying doesn't carry any of the stigmas we take for granted as being status quo out here... genres mix at events and in music with complete freedom and abandon.. everyone gets fucked up and dances, even in the middle of a Saturday afternoon...

It was so goddamn refreshing.

Yes, absolutely. Good point. It's part of the mainstream culture over there, you can pick up the Sydney Morning Herald and read reviews or ads for some raver festival right next to those for a Rod Stewart show.
