Crispy Yam Fries!

cutie_nikki, liveonjim, and I went to Cactus Club today for dinner. and i had the best type of fries ever. first time ive ever tried em. SO GOOD!

next time try em. so worth it.

The reef makes some decent yam fries.

The best yam fries with miso gravy used to be made by gabe over at the sugar refinery. We'd roll in around 4am just as they were closing; he'd lock up the joint and cook just for us. We'd never have to order anything, he'd just keep bringing food to the table until we were stuffed.

Damn I miss that place, it had some of the best vegetarian food this town has ever seen.

the sugar refinery closed at 4? i thought we were there till 5 or 6 usually? maybe i'm just not remembering right.

best yam fries that i've had are the ones at wild rice. bunch of different types of potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams made into flat chips & served with sea salt. drool-worthy.

i wish fritz had some sort of yam fry. that place is already heaven, i don't even know if i'd be able to handle how amazing that would be.

1) Licorise ( not sure on spelling) on davie street
2) Bin 941 again on Davie street

Well most things ARE invented just for you to try out Nabs, so I can see how you'd make that mistake.
