Yes, I've done it. It's challenging in terms of distance (75km), but makes up for it with the most beautiful, untouched seascapes on the west coast. Pack as light as you can, it's a long walk to be carrying a ridiculously heavy pack. There are heaps of ladders and stairs too! If you take your time, it's not all that bad, and most definately worth it.
Don't forget you have to make a reservation (I know, crazy) no more than 90 days before you want to start.
One I'd like to try is the new "North Coast Trail" from the tip of vancouver island, around Cape Scott, and down to an old logging town on the Northwest coast called "Holburg" --- although shorter I think, it looks even more rugged and isolated than the West Coast Trail.
