chinatown, tho this time of year chinatown is swarming with activity.

Whoever mentioned Steveston gets props. The only good thing about Richmond and one of the lower mainland's hidden treasures.

I used to live a 5 minute drive from there.. I took boxing lessons at the community center, had stupid booze-filled teenage parties out at Gary Point. Ah memories...

Head to Ellas restaurant near the bus loop for amazing Greek food.. try the calamari.

"Guu with Garlic" (Robson) and the original "Guu" (Thurlow) have different variations of foods. Guu with Garlic has a nice kimchi hotpot thingy that's delicious. Also, "Hapa Izakaya" (Robson) isn't too bad either.

If you want to venture out to Burnaby/Coquitlam, "Insadong" is fantastic for their Korean hotpot.

I like Sekushi on Denman

I probably spelled the name wrong, but it's a little izakaya place just across the alley from the dairy queen (so near denman + robson). Everything is made on a small charcoal grill so if it's busy you'll wait a long time for food, but it is absolutely delicious and worth the wait.

hahaha Gary point has so many teen memories for me , me and one of my bestfriends always seemed to end up there since she lives 5 minutes away.

go on the aquabus to granville island, aquabus the whole false creek, theater sports in granville island, yaletown, chinatown (dimsum) or the chinese garden, samurai sushi on davie for sushi, guu on thurlow/robson for crazy awesome japanese food, science world, omnimax, imax (happy feet was so awesome..but not 3d) (at imax you get a coupon for stonegrill..buy one get one free meal..SO WORTH IT), english bay...get some cupcakes, commercial for breakfast, longsdale quay to buy some light snacks for a nice lil picnic at cypress viewpoint, vancouver aqaurium, greater vancouver zoo (in langley), indoor rock climbing near cambie bridge, pitch and putt in stanley park, go karts in richmond, bowling at the zone or the sketchy hotel place on marine/main, beyond lounge at the century hotel for some mini burgers and oh might delish draft heiniken, wow...i have a good life.

I found the Hockey Hall of Fame really boring.

But how about that CN Tower!

One thing for visitors to Toronto to observe is that every quadrant of the city has its own distinct unpleasant odour. Not sure how they pulled that off.
