I swear Sanford has a canucks voodoo doll for these games he plays in. Wheneve Sanford is in net for St louis *only against the canucks* it seems we always lose.
Man we always seem to lose to the weak team anyways even if we are pretty the action.

i kind of thought going in that we'd lose this one. i've seen it happen before, right after the trade deadline weak teams get a little jump. the reson is that for the last two weeks everyone in the locker room has been living with possibly getting traded. even if you weren't one of the big guys there's always a chance you go somewhere else as a throw in to make a deal work salary wise. so you breathe a huge sigh of relief when the deadline passes and you don't have to move yourself and your family again.
plus, when your team sells off you're officially out of the playoff picture, there's no more expectations this year, and the pressure to perform is off.
