need friendship conflict advice

im gonna sum up whats happened between me and a friend of mine and any advice or opinion you can give would be great.

my friend and i were planning a trip for after her grad, so what we decided to do was go to the Coachella festival and then stay in a timeshare down in Palm Desert for a week. then take a scenic drive back up to vancouver.

what happend was that Coachella sold out so she told me she wouldnt be coming. i was disappointed but made other plans with my other friends i'm going down with. adjusted everything and what not.

then a couple weeks later, she tells me she's coming. i'm like WTF? now what? i cant stay in the timeshare for a whole week cuz i have to be back at work the following monday. my buds and i planned this really wicked trip up the coast thru the redwoods and the oregon coast and all that fun stuff.

she thinks im ditching her, where in reality, i thought she ditched me.

so i told her this is what we should do... stay in the timeshare for 3 days instead of a week and have her drive back with me and my buds doing the wicked coastal trip that we planned.

i told her our friend ship means alot to me and that i really want her to come cuz its gonna be a blast. the timeshare was free anyways... who says we have to stay the whole time? plus the roadtrip would be so much more fun. i think i'd get bored at a resort for a whole week. camping and exploring and travelling the coast is so much more exciting.

she wants to see the coast too, cuz she's never been down there.

does this sound reasonable? did i handle this correctly or should i ditch my other friends and stay at the time share and fly back (costing lots of cash) and miss out on the roadtrip? which i think would suck to miss. thats almost the best part to me.

she's just really moody and sensative. and i'm not sensative whatsoever so i'm trying to do whats best for both of us.
