The day I got my N I went to a house party and had it stolen. (I have a soft-top convertible, so I have to put it on the outside.)
Got a new one, got it stolen while I was at school. Got a new one, took that one off when I parked and put inside my glove box, my BROTHER took it. wtf. I haven't driven with an "N" since. I tried, the bastards!*&($ |

I failed the first time because some dumb woman pulled off a side-street w/out looking and just about hit me, so I missed the Playground Zone sign because I was concentrating on not slamming into her! Just make sure you remember to: - always shoulder-check - come to a full stop at red lights/stop signs before creeping up - check your mirrors A LOT - don't go over the speed limit AT ALL - scan intersections and watch for hazards (they will ask you to do hazard perception) - know your hand-signals Other than that, just make sure that you obey all the normal rules of the road, they're not going to try to trick you on the test or anything. And, be friendly with your tester. Make conversation and stuff...it will make you feel more at ease and it will make the tester more comfortable and will make you seem more likeable! And thanks to everyone for the congrats :D Good luck to all of you out there left to take road tests! |

Sue Bitch: I had to book mine about 2 months prior. You can book your test at www.icbc.com Offset: Take the classes...it cuts 3 months of the waiting time and the instruction is really good. Try Basic Driving if you live in Richmond/Vancouver...it was only $500...which is $300 cheaper than Young Drivers and $200 cheaper than Trinity. |
