I finally found a job!

I'm sooooooooo stoked, I start work tomorrow, the hours are the best for me, it pays better than I thought it was, and I am now working at *drumroll*

Kinko's!!!

Yeah it doesn't sound that spetacular, but now I can go out for all you can eat sushi again! :D

do u know how high the percentage of ppl photocopyin their bum is?! its surprisingly REALLY high..i dont remember it though. 10 bucks say stephanie will be doin it.

kinkos looks like a sweet job...easy stuff...at least tat wut it looks like. dont they have comps there as well? double the sweetness.

Yeah they have computers and stuff, I just have to help people log in and all that. I'm not allowed to actually sit down and help someone though.

I can't photocopy my ass, it's open 24 hours, there would always be SOMEONE around! hehe Though I've thought of it of course!

And they're aware that I want to go back to school..it would be self-paced at first, and that's all they need to know! :)

^I've had troubles looking for a job in the past...it took me 9 months once. This time it took me 2 weeks. A lot of it is luck!!!

And I would have to say that RIGHT NOW is the best time to apply because everyone's going to back to school, I got a job the same time last year too. :)

kinkos would be fun, i was thinking of applying there, cause i work int he copy centre at staples.
and its fun, i love doing that kinda stuff...you get to like be all nosy and look at peoples pics...i've done up wedding invitations.

^Thanks! You probably have enough experience to apply for "Full Serve". I am starting off in "Self Serve". Full serve is like printing off newsletters and business cards for people and all that jazz...all I'm doing in showing people how to load the counter into the copiers and logging them into the computers, and running the till. :)

It's part time, but works out to be 32 hours a week.
And it's Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 2pm onwards (I assume that means til 10 or 11pm), then Fri and Sat mornings. So I can't leave the club late on Fri, but it means I can get fawked on Sat night, and have 2 full days to recouperate! YEEEEEEEEAH!!!!! :)

You should apply to work at Kinko's! Just apply at the one downtown so I don't have competition. :D

finding a job is all about determination.
if you REALLY need a job, you will work anywhere. anytime.
future employees sense the sincerity of you (if you are sincere) and want an employee like you..

for some reason i get jobs REAlly easy...like drop of the hat. except whe ni first came back to van. it took me quite some time...
but patience and preserverness prevailed!!
haha did that make sense. probably not.

but yeah now i have a sweet job and for the first time, i REALLY like my job.

if you don't go to school, go through an Agency. That's what I did when I moved to calgary. Took a couple months to find the right one, but now I have the sweetest job ever, and I'm so happy I waited all that time to find it.
I work at the head corporate office for Marks Work Wearhouse, making enuf an hour, 7:30-3:30 shifts monday to friday, and a paid hour lunch. NOw you cant beeat that. It even beats the job I had in BC at Serving It Right, which was a kick ass job too. Im making the same right now, but it works out to be more on the paycheque because of the tax difference..:trippin:
