I too was on LX at the beginning when it was nice and friendly and it has evolved. I didn't even know of this place until I went searching for someone. As for XTCity, it never turned my crank as it was too 'fluffy and sweet' and I'm glad I never posted there. So how I can I go back? To lurk as I normally do and try not to puke?

the point i'm trying to make: IT WAS A FUCKING JOKE. get over it.

and since we're using examples here, i'll use the same one you used. Ok let's say i have a best friend who's east indian, and someone comes up and starts calling him racist names, etc (in an obvious hurtful/hatred-filled way), i'm obviously gonna stand up for him/her. why? cuz it's been done to intenionally hurt a person. Whereas...one of my non-east indian friends (ie. Bebe) could make a JOKE about east indians in front of me and i wouldn't be phased at all. I'm half indian...but i'm secure enough to have a laugh at myself. jokes are just that...a JOKE. there's a fine line between making a stupid joke and being hurtful. Fucking chill and drop the whole thing already.
