thaaanks darlin! well actuallly the night city shot and the double exposure of me are on 4x5 negatives...they're huuuuge negatives. you can't really tell from the scanned version, but in the actual print for that night city shot...there's so much detail that you can read little signs IN stores ACROSS the street. it's amazing how much detail you get from large format. i just hate lugging around the cameras cuz they're so fucking big and the tripods are soooo heavy...and i'm weak...not a good combination.

And you better be taking some pics of me when you get back here. Alot of the photographers down here are way to Vanilla. All they do is take pictures of smiling girls in bikinis.. woohoo. I need some more artistic stuff for my portfolio and site. I want some art and content in my pictures and I know you can help me accomplish that.

sammy...i talked to the skateboarding dude and he said that work will possibly be set up for you for the spring time. so maybe something will fly during reading break or even when you return to vancouver in the summer. i'll keep you posted! :)

i was just asked today by Ryerson if iwanted to submit 8 prints for my own art show? wtf? i get my own show!!!!!! supposedly a few first year students were picked for a senior photography and film show. i have to get my prints done buti'm kinda excited...and kinda scared.

yeah i wasn't too sure cuz on that double exposure shot i did, i divided the aperture in half as well. it still turned out. but only dividing the shutter speed and keeping the aperture as is seems more logical :)
