I'm cool with dogs if I know them well. Long as they are well groomed and quiet and don't pounce on my nuts they don't bother me.

i like BIG LAZY DOGS
not rotties or anything vicious... i just want a dog who i can sit around the house with all day and watch the game with or whatever... LOW MAINTENANCE cats are too stuck up. and they never smile. dogs always got that big smile on their face with their soggy tongue hangin' out to the side... aww ya... i wouldn't mind having a cat though... 1 of each is prolly the way i'd go... but dogs are my fav. simply cuz they're fun to be with and you can have fun with them. you can't do anything with cats and they don't want to have anything to do with you unless they're hungry.

I've got a dog and a couple of cats....and I love them all equally. Well, maybe except for one of the cats. She's not so great. But the other two are awesome! :hehe: It's always cats vs. dogs, isn't it?

Dogs are cute but they have a doggy smell, and they're too emotionally high-maintenance. some are cute but try a rainy day, a wet slimy dog comes running atcha and drooling all over you leaving their lil paw prints all over you pants..
They're high maintenance in that you have to give em a wash unless you want em to have that dog-stink, they BARK at every sign of a guest, they get overly excited and sometimes cannot control themslve.s You have to take em out for a walk and all that other stuff.. now CATS I like : ) They're reserved, quiet, mysterious, all you have to do is feed them, and let em out, then let em back in. They work on their own schedules, they won't bark at you, they come for your attention only when they want it, and they're suck-ups, but they don't howl or whine. They don't leave a stink on your hands after you touch em, and they have soft furr. I think that a cat would suit my personality best... but my mom hates cats : (
