Anyways, I have my left tragus pierced, it didn't hurt at all till I tried to sleep on it...the pressure is what hurt.

I paid $8 to get mine done with a gun, no infection or any problems, it healed within three weeks.

I got mine done for $55 with a larger needle then usual so that the jewlery would go in smoother.
i can sleep on it too.
right now its not even red..it looks like ive had it done forawhile now.
