visiting vancouver - help needed!
hello! my crazy love and i are going to be visiting vancouver from seattle on monday, for the first time in a long time.
naturally, the only reasonable thing to do is go record shopping.. so here's where i need your help. i'm told that there's a store that the nordic trax folk are heavily involved in, but i'm not sure which that is and where it is. i also don't know if any new record stores have popped up.. i've been going up to vancouver on & off for the last 7 years or so, but it's been a year since i've been up there... and down in seattle new shops open/close every few months it seems like. also would like suggestions on where to shop for clothes.. i am of the opinion that canadian designers like fiction, house of spy, etc. are badass.. and they are hard to find down here. and finally, food! if you had only one day in downtown vancouver, where would you eat? =] cheap is good! ethnic also good! thanks much in advance! |

Burrard, actually.. 1252 Burrard, near Davie. :smoke1: fyi, the nordic trax peeps aren't heavily involved in any shop... Tyler who owns Bassix is involved with NT, and Dana from NT periodically works at Boomtown, but that's about the extent of their involvement in local shops. |
