he wasn't dissing, he was being adult. throught this whole 'fued' he's said he has no idea why eminem hates him, and that he has no ill will towards him.
way to go media for blowing this shit out of proportion, way to sell eyeballs. |

' In the future we're all going to regret this period in music where our tastes were determined by 11 year old girls and wrestling fans.'
yes moby, the world will be a better place when our tastes are determined by people who drive SUVs and drink decaf lattes. also... i don't find moby's stance on this to be particularly 'adult'. just the fact that he seems to think eminem's disses are actually personal and more than just stage/video theatrics, prooves that he's just a little bitch! |

i didn't find what moby said to be adult or even insulting to anyone...
i liked the part about 11 year old girls and wrestling fans, but all that article looked like to me was something that pretty much anyone on this board would post after someone else burned them. he did a pretty poor job of defending himself IMO... and, either that article was horribly written, or moby really is a square, cuz the whole article didn't make much sense in any sort of a retaliation'esque way... it was almost like moby was trying to sound intelligent about his comeback, but he forgot the intelligence and the comeback part... what a dork. he shoulda stuck with movie scores instead of trying to make it on the radio... man... 'if a ***** smacks me, i'mma smack him back.' ... |

well, they're peers in the sense that they're both shite, overhyped crap merchants who have made it rediculously big by taking black urban music and dumbing it down for suburban white listeners....
but i think the reason eminem disses moby, is the same reason he does any of the other things that have made him famous: to generate hype through controversy and sell more records. maybe not as conventional as moby's method of selling every song on his abum to corporate advertisers, but it seems to be working.... |

there's 1 cd out there, i downloaded it a couple weeks ago... it's Moby - Songs (1993 - 1998)... it definately highlights all his better work... almost all the songs will probably bring back great memories of moby if you were a fan back in those days... back when his music was more intelligent and creative, rather than now... he'll do anything to duo with a celeb. and get on the radio. did you see him on the MTV euro. awards? what a fucken dork... |

moby used to be a pompous ass, really stuck up. now he's, what? late 30's? he's a religious, anti-corporate (i know he's a sell-out he says he does it to get his music out to the masses) eviromentalist vegan. i seriously don't think you'd ever see him driving an SUV or drinking a latte.
that said i still think he's a flake. i mean did anyone see that wanna meet a rockstar with him?.....well i did and he IS a geek and he seems manic depressive. i do think he's a good producer but like previously mentioned his older stuff is much much better. play was good but his new one? *gag* they both have talent but are polar opposites. hahaha i love the fact they say moby disses eminem hahaha poor writing + sensationalism = grade 3 writing assignment OOOOH DISS! "'|). |
