admittedly I never liked you rawb... your posts are laughable and entertaining but always lacked opinion or personality beyond just being sarcastic.

this thread has COMPLETELY changed my opinion on you because you are displaying a personal opinion that is not just meant for bashing others or for entertainment value. That and you're completely right in what you are fighting for.

j0rd, so what exactly is your role with FNK?

You seem to have a preconceived notion of what the 'new' FNK should be like (content-wise) and it doesn't seem to be jiving with what a lot of the current members are feeling. I understand that you have an emotional investment in the site due to the fact that you have had a huge part in creating the look and feel of it, but it really seems like you've been on a power trip since the new version rolled out.

When it comes to moderation, because of your emotional investment in, and vision of, the 'new' FNK, I think you are not representing the FNK members' needs/wants. Instead, you seem to be attempting to shape the board into what YOU want it to be. Unless this is the vision that the FNK group as a whole has and I just missed the memo.

I'm calling you out specifically because I have not noticed any other admins/mods acting in a similar fashion.

the moderation changed from getting rid of racist / offensive posts to burying comments that a moderator views as useless when not everyone else does and there wasn't a warning about it (that i saw). i knew there was going to be a new karma system to vote down posts, didn't realize the mods would be using it to enforce a seemingly new set of rules.

i read the comments in question (about "the dark") and i agree wholeheartedly with pretty much everything rawb said. dude prints out pictures on pieces of paper and glues them to walls; sorry if i think that's lame. i see no real reason for those comments to have been modded down like they were.
