Those are not necessarily expensive collector's items (although The Thing may be worth a fair bit, I couldn't find anything on it).
I'd say your best bet is to get them appraised at a comic book shop and then sell them independently if you're looking to make the most cash off of it. Private collectors will shell out a bit more if it's something they want in their collection for personal pride (ie. all three parts of the first appearance of Carnage). If you want to sell the whole lot off and just be rid of it, I may know someone. Get them appraised first though. |

PERSONALLY, I WOULD KEEP THE COMICS IN A BOX STORED SOMEWHERE.
GIVE THEM TO YOUR SON OR TOMBOY DAUGHTER, THEY WILL GET MORE USE OUT OF THEM THEN ANY COLLECTOR WILL UNFORTUNATELY COMIC PROSPECTING STARTED BEFORE 1990 SO MOST OF THE COMICS POST 86 ARE WORTH LITTLE (THANKS WIZARD + TRADE PAPERBACK MANIA) BASICALLY THE REAL WORLD VALUE IS LESS THAN THE SENTIMENTAL VALUE, OR THE "WOW DAD YOURE SO COOL!" VALUE YOUD GET FROM GIVING THEM TO YOUR OFFSPRING PS: FIRST 3 CARNAGES eBay: Amazing Spiderman Comics Lot 361 362 363 First Carnage! (item 130098017128 end time Apr-12-07 09:15:37 PDT) |

That's not true at all se7en. It's BECAUSE there are so many spin-offs that the genuine originals are going up in price. Not to mention it's about the right time for a comeback. Comics are starting to reappear all over the place and conventions are becoming more and more frequent again.
