ive cheered for canucks since i was a kid, and i watch a lot of hockey. why does my different opinion make me any less of a fan? and whats wrong with soccer? soccer is an incredible sport, being both a skills competition AND a team sport.

my origional post was just pointing out that i didnt feel the canucks were playing with their usual intensity throughout the regular time in the game. at first it was good, but turco really shut down their forecheck, which i find the canucks rely on quite a bit. the canucks could have compensated rather than continually giving the puck away to the stars sixth man turco. just because i love the canucks and totally support them, doesn't mean they dont have room for improvement. they played an amazing season, i just want to see them keep building on that. either way... great to see the win, and they definately proved their endurance through four OTs

I wasn't trying to take anything away from soccer, it's my number two sport. I just think that a shoot out is a cheap way to end the game and while entertaining in the regular season is out of the question during the playoffs. My only complaint about the game last night was that they stop selling beer after the second intermission.
