Um, what he did was incredibly wrong and disrespectful to those people and that entire city's scene as far as I am concerned. If you didn't personally know the guy, you'd probably be disgusted by it too. What do his actions say about HIS personality?

Further to that, this is his job. This is what he is being PAID to do. You don't go to work fucked up. Why should he, regardless of the job.

I love Dave, think he is a fantastic producer, and a great guy, and I know that this was entirely out of character for him. But as Jim said, this will share the ranks with some of the better fuck up stories for DJ's in Vancouver.

Those DJ's have gotten bookings from the same promoters that said they would never book them again. Shit happens and people forget.

When Reid Speed was out here and according to some acting like a total idiot, why was it okay to slander her all over the internet and recount the stories of the horrible things she apparently did, but when it comes to someone you know it's not okay? That's a total double standard.

If you're talking about drugs, I don't think I ever posted that I really cared what the person did. I just don't (and a lot of others agree) really think alcohol alone is responsible for someone who is probably usually a nice guy acting out like that. If ANY headliner pulled this kind of shit on ANY promoter in this city you're going to bet the exact same fallout would happen, and it has in the past.
