Women Allowed Topless in BC

Yes, it's true.

In Canada, women are allowed to go topless JUST LIKE MEN.

While this is true even on BC beaches, it's rare to see ANY women topless except on Wreck Beach.

Why? Because some wife of a rightwing nut might call the cops and complain, "Some lady is showing her bare breasts in front of my child!!"

I dunno about you, but that kid, if she saw any breasts other than her mom's when she was breast-fed, would just demand boob-juice from Mom. Now! At 3 years when kids are supposed to be weaned, naturally.

Yes, in most kids' minds, boobs are sources of the most natural food, chock fulla immune-stimulating colostrum.

Another probably reason for a lack of topless women on English Bay and anywhere but Wreck Beach is that the kind of feminism practised pretends that bare breasts demean women and sexualize them.

Sorry, ladies! That's a bogus rationalization. At one time in the late 20th Century, Take Back the Night demonstrations and even 4-20 days had bare breasts galore.

Not even stripping actually demeans women these days. This argument was invented by anti-porn feminists in collaboration with the religious right. It's similar to the rationalization about matriarchal culture being peaceful before patriarchy raised its ugly head.

So why aren't women topless in BC? Blame the rain. Blame the fact that women are nine times sensitive to external stimuli than men, especially to the cold and odors.

Bare breasts are not demeaning to women, nor do they sexualize women.

For they were originally FERTILITY symbols, just like wide hips and fine asses.

Man, I NEVER say this... but give it up. You know what you should blame? The fact that women don't want men gawking at their tits all day.

This has been legal in BC for a long time now and I've only known two girls to take advantage of it in all of my travels.

I think the only time women go naked, let alone topless, is in public is either they've gone psychotic and/or used way too much cocaine, meth or marijuana.

I've yet to see a sane yet sober woman go topless in public, nor has a girlfriend tried to entrap me by stripping naked to see what I'd do to her.

If either event ever happens to me, then I will run away from her, just in case she's psychotic and/or high.
