My best friend is coming up next weekend and I want to take him out to a "nice" gay bar along Davie... but I want to go too, I've heard that unless you got dick, you ain't getting in to some of the clubs ...

Can anyone recommend some good ones?

haha. i've lived in the west end for 2 years and still haven't gone to any of them........ so nope!

um, there aren't any gay clubs that i know of that wouldn't allow girls inside.

the davie scoop:
pumpjack is full of leather bears
1181 is trendy and young
numbers is full of older guys looking for younger guys
odyssey is where you go for a one night stand
celebrities is full of straight people
fountainhead pub has a pool table and a patio!
sugar daddys has big tvs

The Odyssey can be so much fun, send a cute gay friend to the bar and you'll be sure to get the stiffest drinks you've ever had. A lot of sleaze goes there, but it can be fun and I'm guessing you and your friend won't be going there to meet anyone to be in anything serious or long term.
