What could I do?
Okay, so I just got out of a relationship after nine months. Apparently I'm the worst boyfriend ever because I didn't do anything to celebrate our nine month anniversary.... Anyway, reason being is she broke up with me the day before but she fails to recognize how that might get in the way of going for dinner together. Basicaly, the girl broke up with me every four to five days for all of 2007. Seriously. I accept that I'm a chump for taking her back that many times, but she always managed to convince me she'd change her ways and get help for some of the outlandish behaviour. Other than that everything was as good as I've ever known it could be, and when the girl was sweet, she was sweet.

So anyway, I thought I'd put it out for the masses to judge. Put in this situation with a girl demanding you do something nice to make up for not celebrating a 3/4-anniversary while she breaks off the relationship over and over again and disrespects everything you shared together, what would you do?

A question on the side: should I just cut the losses and forget about her since she's convinced she's got nothing to change despite extreme behaviour I won't even describe on a public forum?

Cut your losses and move on.

Be thankful that it was only a 9 month relationship, and getting over her won't be extremely difficult.
