You can't slag MM without proper lip-service to Ann Coulter, Fox News, CNN, Rush Limbaugh, et al.
MM stands out because, besides Noam Chomsky, there's not a whole lot of organized lefties commanding any public attention through the various mass-media. Frosty (respects free speech, but, still wants to punch some idiots in the mouth) |

I dunno since MM I've noticed a whole lot of people talking about shit they know nothing about. They usually start their argument with a scene from the movie. "Yeah man did you see that new michael moore movie..blah...blah." "michael moore visited a hospital in detroit and then went to almost the same exact hospital in Toronto only to be greeted with door greeters, and nurses serving hor'deurves, and vallet parking." Not saying that actually happened but every time he compares our countries I feel so mis represented. I lock my doors, I get scared travelling at night, My family will never get the medical attention that they're waiting for, etc.
I much rather read an Al Franken book. |

^If I were a Yank living in the appropriate riding, I'd totally vote for Frankie!!!
He's the kind of mettle that makes run-o'-the-mill congress-people break out in cold-sweats: a man who knows "what-the-fuck" _AND_ has the sense of humour to put the point forward, bluntly. Frosty (hates liars) |

And Michel Moore just encourages the sheep on his side to think exactly like him. |

the problem i have with michael moore is that he's really good at pointing out exactly what is wrong with everything and how freaking wrong it is, but he never seems to offer a viable solution to these problems. Makes people who see his works just feel hopeless and bad, it's better to get people involved in your cause by telling them what exactly they can do to make it better.

^I find it hard to take anyone seriously who bashes Halliburton like he did in his most successful documentry, when hes been known to own tens of thousands of shares in stock with the company.
Here's a seminar and a docu on the subject if anyone is interested, I don't know if it's anything like Moores film, but there is certainly going to be less hype on them, and I for one appreciate that: [GOOGLEVIDEO]http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6890106663412840646&hl=e n[/GOOGLEVIDEO] (I don't understand the evangelical begining either since it has nothing to do with the seminar) [GOOGLEVIDEO]http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=451097355502728465&hl=en[/GOOGLEVIDEO] |
