So I'm debating applying for the Canadian Forces
Now, I'm not in the best physical shape, the thought of guns/war/fighting scares the hell outta me, and I'm a bit of a puss.
BUT. Since I will be living 1KM from the DND (Department of National Defense), and they hire for part time non-combat positions (like administration), I figure why the heck not? Canada's been good to me and I love my country more than anything else (not to mention I am a sucker for men in uniforms). The only thing that holds me back is my fear of eating healthy & exercising, guns and war... But other than that, I feel obligated. I've gone though the first step already and applied for an administrative clerk on the base around the corner from my place.... I just got a response back saying that the next Soilder's Qualification will be in September... so that gives me 2 months to get fit and get over my fear of guns. I'm looking for any feed back that anyone may have... I want to get back to this guy before I move in 4 weeks.... |

(In all seriousness though I find it foolhardy to be involved in the death industry if guns make you sqeamish, but that's just me) |
