Canadian government accused of racial profiling

hay conspiracy nerds, cool down, this isn't about terrorism.

This is one of the weirdest cases I have ever seen. Look at the list of witnesses that have been subpoenaed to testify in this case. If this case actually has legitimacy, what is this going to mean as far as acts legally allowed to enter Canada and perform?

TMZ obtained court documents filed yesterday, which "commands" that a spectacular list of celebrities appear for depositions in a lawsuit filed by one Jerome Almon, who alleges that Canada has launched an attack on U.S. black rappers. The lawsuit claims Canadaian officals blame rappers for both increased gangs and gun violence in Toronto and Vancouver, and holds up black rappers at the border.

The list goes on to include Paris Hilton, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Snoop Dogg, DMX, Diddy, Jenna Jameson, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Eminem, Kobe Bryant, Spike Lee, Tom Sizemore, Martha Stewart and Heidi Fleiss. Mr. Almon, CEO of MurderCap Records, tells TMZ, "The white celebrities have been directed to appear, in order to show the hypocritical nature of Canadian policy toward rappers. Some of the white celebrities have far worse records than these rappers, but are still allowed to enter Canada with the red carpet rolled out."

To give you an example its a known fact that rehab centers for people with mental disabilities / drug addictions would take a white person before they accept someone else who's color'd

Yeah I read the article... So what its "celebrities" that is part of the lawsuit. Obviously they are standing up for something that is quite obvious. Sure the media grabs there attention since they are known throughout the entertainment industry and throughout the world. But what about the "little" guy down the street who is also a victim of racial profiling from this government. He/she is silenced.

Very interesting case Myra, I remember reading about how some shows were canceled due to this. The suit is being prepared by the head of the Detroit ACLU.

Some of Almon's other claims are pretty wild, this will be interesting for sure.

"” They’re treating us as if we’re criminals,'’ Almon said, adding, “If the Klan had a police force, it would be the border services.'’ The Canadian government has reportedly pointed to a shooting that took place in Toronto in 2003, after a 50 Cent show as an example of the direct connection between rap music and gun violence.

So what’s Condoleezza Rice have to do with this? According to Almon “the State Department has in its possession secret internal Canadian investigative reports admitting that the country is worse at racial profiling than the U.S., yet, Rice has sided with the Canadian government against African Americans in what he says is destined to become ‘The State Department’s Katrina.’”

Almon’s conspiracy theory further alleges that not only is the U.S. State Department aware of Canada’s prejudicial policy, but that it is complicit in a bribery cover-up relating to one of 50 Cent’s aborted Canadian tours. Further, he alleges that while Canada profiles U.S. rappers, it is protects known Muslim terrorists responsible for U.S. casualties. He also claims Canada has a Rap Intelligence Unit that employs information-sharing with the FBI."

Unfortunately, there's no solution for when the 'dum' on the 'net causes folks to run headfirst into a brick wall in hopes of easing the pain.

i think it's more interesting/disturbing that canadian police are using undercover officers posing as protesters to incite violence at protests and give the police a reason to arrest everyone.
