courtious drivers

driving to work today theres a tricky intersection that you have to turn left out of, can take from 1-4 minutes of waiting usually, kinda a pain.

had a really nice guy totally stop for me when he noticed a gap in the other lane for me to get through,
either he is having a super lazy day or is from the area and knows the intersection, either way its nice to see some people that can hold on two seconds to let someone through,

no he didnt hold up traffic in his lane, but had he not stopped the cars on their way would have got there,

thank you anynomus stranger

Occasionally it happens. Its a hundred times as shocking as even the most obtuse driver.

Bryan M is an unknown quantity at this point
I find it very hard to stay stay sane with alot of un-curtious drivers in Vancouver. It may be small beans compared to alot of situations, BUT, i have the biggest pet peeve of people not acknowledging a curtious act, ie. letting someone pass, letting some turn ahead of yourself etc.

A simple waive is all that is needed! Maybe driving in the UK for 3 months spoiled me, everyone seems to waive in that country!

Am i out of line?

jenai can only hope to improve
i was in vancouver earlier this month and the rude honking drivers were everywhere.

this is worse than last year.

they also were blocking a left hand turn on granville.

so when is the luxury tax for cars going up?

Some drivers need to learn though that when a jaywalker/pedestrian waves you through, just take your right of way. I usually aim to NOT interfere with traffic as much as possible. Usually if a car slows down after I wave them through, I'm waiting for them to go by as quickly as possible so I can hop into a slot behind them. When they slow down, you have to deal with a 5-second wave match and then you _DO_ end up causing holdups with the traffic behind them.

Pedestrians have the right-of-way. If they yield it to you, for the love of god just take it instead of trying to yield it back.
