its still technically summer for like 10 more days.

it's so silly people call it the 'end of summer' at the end of august when summer goes until the end of september.

people just associate the end of summer with the start of school.

for sure, but it's definitely caught on with a lot of people not going back to school.

people are soo busy celebrating the 'end of summer' at the end of aug they're missing out on prime summer time :P

I was there alll day on sunday, it was beautiful and hot and sunny..too hot at some points..I loved it :)

Actually... I did take 1.5 months off work... I've never had time off for longer than 1 week so that was cool.

For pretty much the worst summer for sunshine (on weekends) I had a pretty amazing summer. Learned to kayak, camped a lot, got through some good beach books and Bbq'd my heart out lol yay summer

I worked and went to school through the summer,

currently I'm still working and started school again yesterday.

I made it out to a few BBQ's and shows. Had a blast whenever possible.

first time i've taken 2 weeks straight off of work since I started working at 15...

best vacation of my life....

all in all this summer was 'ok'- dealt with a breakup and all the complications that can go with that...managed to take a short (but fun!) trip to vic, took a few weeks off work and just lazed around Vancouver...on the plus side, I got into Yoga and riding my bmx on the seawall as much as I can and I'm in excellent shape right now (now the real challenge is to keep that shape..haha)

My summer was aight. Finally freed myself from an unhealthy relationship and got my life back and focused on studying. Oh yeh i also got ecoli, that was pretty fun but probably the highlight would be the beach time spent and Shambles.

not gonna go down in history as one of the great summers of my life, but no major complaints

went by WAY too fast for my liking... partied enough, beached it enough, relaxed enough all in all it was a great summer with tons of memories :)

as much as Im gonna miss summer time and warm sunshine... I cant wait for snowboarding season to start up, which is like another summer for me only alot colder... haha

I think I could do with a couple more beach days to set things right. I had a good houseboating trip with flawless weather. Trip to tofino was nice but I didn't plan for as much rain as we recieved.

I had to work on weekends a lot this summer, so I feel like I missed out on some fun days with friends. All in all it was an OK summer.

I guess this summer is a sign that global warming is decreasing... Im going to start eating steak every day to help bring the temperature back up for next summer.

guys - i was whining about the statement, not asking how your summers were, way to take the thread in the wrong direction.
