So yeah, if you had a million dollar house.. and lets just say the ability to be self sustained, but you could only live in your own town. etc

Or would you sell that house and use it all to travel, stay in hostels, maybe even try to hustle or invest with it.. BUT that's the only million you get for the rest of your life. you can't get a "job" if you run out.

what would be your choice and why ?

Invest it all in mutual funds and live off the interest..

the interest alone would be enough to live where you want and pay your expenses... plus when you have that much liquid cash.. you will get a crazy line of credit and loans etc, so the possibility to start up your own business is still there etc etc...

anybody who would take the first option is a scared sucker and needs to set their goals higher... You want to live life... not have a white picket fence and say "how about that weather" to your middle aged balding neighbour every day..
