I know nothing about games... but I know my bf would love to own Halo 3 when it comes out. I want to surprise him when we get back from Mike Relm with an xbox360 & halo3.


Will it be easy for me to pick-up?? Or are there crazy waiting lists....

First off, damn. You should date me. Please.

Second, It should be fairly easy to find. There are a huge amount of copies that are going to be released. If you are worried. Stop by eb, and just pre order it. You put down 10% and they hold a copy of it when it comes in. The 360 shouldn't be a problem at all to find.

I'd pre-order Halo 3 to be safe, its estimated to release around Sept. 27th.

I was looking at future shop online but to order the Halo 3: Limited Edition... Would the regular Halo 3 be good or should I go for the limited?

He has done so much for me in the past months... worked OT to take care of bills... helps out everyday around the house. I want to let him know I appreciate everything he does.

Plus he'll have bragging rights to his friends lol Which will make his day.

Depends how big of a fan. I think the limited edition is rather silly. If he was a big enough fan to sit there and watch 3 hours of nerds talk about making a video game it might be worth it. But most people wouldn't care.

Standard: Game and instructions
Limited: Game, Instructions, making of DVD and I believe tin box $10 more
Legendary: As above, but replica helmet of main character. Twice the price

The cheap version doesn't come with any way to save your game, and would have to buy that seprate.

I live close to Coq Centre and they have an EB games there. I will most likey pick up the Xbox from Future Shop.
