oh another boston tip for your buddy cdn is to give him a massive pet toy rope. I find all toys even the "strong" kong ones start getting demolished within 10 minutes. The little bits in the toy can get backed up and cause your friend to pay for surgery. The rope is sturdier and doesn't break apart easily and if swallowed it passes easy. Make sure his boston has access to it at all times when it wants to play or else it'll grow up to chew on everything in the house. Last edited by decypher; Oct 21, 07 at 10:17 PM. |

Just go over there and start playing with them and you should get a feel for which would suit you best. Animals usually have strong personalities (even when young) and there will probably be one that's more mellow/cuddly/playful/whatever you're looking for than the other.
Both are adorable, I'm jealous! |

When the time comes my Dad breeds them... and sells them well below their usual cost

k tbh I generally hate small dogs, but that breed is SO cute.
I have decided that all small dogs OTHER then theese are kick me's.... but your dog will be the only fucking awesome small dog I have seen. :) either one is a good choice! I personally like the darker one. PS> do they come in black, ever? |

I had a Shiba and i must admit i liked the breed. I've grown up with big dogs, black labs, german shepards and border collies. The thing with Shiba's is they are like big dogs, mine used to rough house with the big dogs and just take it. Great temperament, very smart, gentle, if i end up living in some place that can't accommodate a big dog, i'll get a Shiba. They are surprisingly solid and heavy when you pick them up. That said they are almost too smart, basically they are mini escape artists and they have lots of energy.
Anyways, go with the right, but they both look cool. |

I think you can only REALLY pick a dog by meeting him/her.
When I got Maddie I actually went to the breeder to look at an entirely different dog, but this other puppy caught my eye and I fell lin love with her!! It's all about their personality and until you meet the dogs you won't be able to choose! |
