where are the managers and contracts in all this? seriously.
while i dont agree whatsoever with what the promoter did, as a "small" female deejay, why did she not protect herself, at the very least, legally. further to that, who opens the door to a small thug-like group of people, they dont know in a city they arent familiar in?! i know none of what happened was her fault, but a little bit of commonsense goes a long way. wood/soo - how often do you play out of town for a promoter you dont know without a contract? |

as a "small" female dj, why was she not more vigilant with her personal well-being and safety. i never hear of this shit happening to bri, she has got to be one of the most professional "small" female djs i know. |

Bri's only been at it for a few years tho. I'm sure everyone has their own story of sketchy promoters - some more severe than others...
