Shaving
I hate it.
I only shave, as necessary (2 - 3 times/week).

Now, my good ol' double-blade travelling shaver finally gave it up, this last trip, so, I was forced to go out and buy a new one.

WTF, over?!?!?!

Except for "disposables", you can't even _buy_ a double-razor, anymore!

You have to buy 3, 4, or 5-blade razors!!!

Come ON!!!

Who the hell believes they can actually get a "closer" shave w/ a stinkin' 5-track-blade?!?

Personally, I think it's uber-retarded.

So, I break down and grab a 3-track shaver w/ spares.

Not _only_ did it take me longer to shave w/ that stupid mother-fucker, but, it butchered my face in the process!!!!

So, my question is: what was so wrong w/ just plain single or double blades?
Other than marketing purposes, have any of you guys found ANY reason that 3 -5 blades makes a difference in slicing your hair?

They run about 10 bucks, but it really is worth it.

Hot towels, warm shaving cream and the closest shave you'll find.

Just don't piss off the barber or you'll end up with a columbian neck-tie.

In Tokyo I went for one of these deals.... the precision of these barbers was unbelievable.. one step away from robots, they were..

It's not that you get a closer shave with a triple , quadruple or quintuple bladed shaver, it's that you don't have to go over the same portion of skin as many times to get each hair, which means less irritation.

Mach 5 with the AA battery jiggle FTW!
