Yeah. I had to bite my tongue the whole episode bc I've read the book, and my bf hasn't, but he still wants to try and get thru it before we get too deep into the series. The father was not at all like I pictured him. I was thinking more fake n baked. Nor was Ellen. I didn't think she'd be so trashy.

All in all I'm stoked about this show, though.

dammit i missed this last night. I read this book in 1 day when i was homesick traveling. It's quite funny at parts and you can really dig into it if you want.

I'm really enjoyed the first episode, but I just finally now had some time to catch upon the other episodes online, and I'm a little disappointed. I'm not sure if I want to bother watching the rest of them, but I'm admittedly curious about what they will do next with the plot (and how much it will vary from the book).
