I don't know about Mesopotamia, but it's been established that Egypt has a history that extends far past what is common knowledge.

I think trying to subsitiute a lack of evidence by citing a world wide conspiriacy bigger then any undertaking done by man involving thousands of people over the entire modren history of mankind, only to be unmasked by a youtube video to be the scam.

And then there's the question why? Why would thousands of people over the entire globe try to fabricate ancient civilizations and make the Earth appear older then it did.

Yeah, though if you take Comparative Civilizations in any high school, how many of them have updated texts to establish this hiccup in common knowledge? Religious bodies stand to gain without the dissemination of such facts, at the least you could probably consider it to be a wise if not necessary business on behalf of more than a few churches.

The literature of the world needs updating, but still the dynastic theory is purported for Egypt, which is a classic example subject to the human condition of having a knowledge filter. What makes you think, these recent revision in orthodox history are fool proof?

How much do you know of the water erosion on the Sphinx?

There is evidence of water erosion not typical of the torrential down pour that yearly flooded the Nile, warping on the Sphinx confirms water erosion of at least ~9000 years. Texts aren't however updated, even though this should be common knowledge, it isn't. So why don't people know? It's because they don't care. Major media hasn't entirely ignored it either, an NBC broadcast as early as November 10, 1993 called The Mystery of the Sphinx can attest to this, and scores more of specials have now covered this as well as many authors.

Personally I would say since new discoveries of this culture are likely to come as years go by, to not throw out what the pyramids themselves say, which is that they may predate Sumerian culture and before hand to circa 30,000 years.

Though who knows, maybe it was just really old graffiti just fucking with your head right?

History is written almost always by someone who wasn't there, and at another time. History should be a place for questions at our current state of society, not answers. Those will surely take a while.

First off, high school texts aren't really good examples of in depth historical timelines. And wouldn't the New Chronilogical timeline help the arguements for the bible's timeline.

They aren't Fool proof, however, I find it hard to believe that the entire historical timeline is so off. And that thousands of years of history have been proven incorrect by a Russian Mathmatician that has been mocked in his own country.

Events in the world aren't always as wild as you'd like to think. History by and large follows a logical path. The pyramids were built by the egyptians, there is a well defiened history to almost all cultures. Atlantis wasn't real.

My point is that our modren view of history is based on hundreds of years of time and research spanning some of the greatest minds of the world.

It's not 100% accurate, that would be impossible. And because of the timelines involved their is going to be some unexplained questions.

But saying that history is thousands of years shorter then thought and all these civilizations were created, and based off Eurpean cultures (And why are other nations following this) because of some Church conspiricay is complicating and distorting the facts far more then the should.

One book, which is widely critized as picking and chosing facts, can hardly be called proof.

A technique that was perfected over the years, starting with simple Mastaba's to step pyramids to the famous pyramids of Giza. The size and perfection of the technique which was perfected over time, then slowly degraded as Egypt lost wealth and man power.
