I meant I've been to Main and Broadway on a saturday. My buddy lives around there. We went to go pick up some liquor, saw the so called "hipsters" in line at the hipster clubs. I was pretty disappointed. I didn't see one person with over sized plastic novelty glasses. Our "hipsters" don't push the envelope.

Basically anybody who tries to look and act like James Murphy is a hipster.

Hipsters come from Indie Rock mostly. They have week-beards, wear ridiculous glasses and always have a white belt on. Of course, they come in various trends and styles, and usually if they don't follow a specific trend then they spend as much of their waking hours making fun of it as they can.

Emo kids were an offshoot of the hipsters, though they've kinda gone mainstream and become their own thing.

Hipsters pretend they're punk rock, when really the only ones left that are truly punk rock are the metalheads.

The reason i stopped going to hiphop shows in Vancouver is because the crowd is always lame. If i wanted to goto a show and sit up on the balcony and look hard, i'd become the pope or something.

PPS. The wiggers in Vancouver was way more of a embarrassment than any hipster anyday.

If i have to go to another show and near someone yell out "SURREY WHAT" or "RIIICHTOOWN" i'ma have to start slapping bitches.

Favorite wigger moment was watching these two nerdy white guys trying to freestyle over some beats that were playing while we waited for Guru to get on. They were trying to record their freestyles with their cellphones.....and THEY FUCKING SUCKED. I felt so ashamed to have these lamers in my city.

Really? I don't really go out anymore, but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of nights out there that play bad mash up with clap sounds in it, and I'm pretty sure that there is a lot of disgusting all over print, bad sunglasses, tapered black jeans, and angular haircuts representing at those events. I don't as much associate indie rock with hipsters these days. Am I totally wrong? Aren't all the kids working at Urban Outfitters going to the Royal Unicorn on the weekends?
