it's what they should have done with him in the first place - put him against some past-their-prime big names and build him up slowly - not throw him to the wolves on his 2nd pro fight (even if Mir was a bit of a question mark then).
It'll be an interesting match up though. If Brock trains correctly, he should beat mark coleman, but coleman is by no means a guaranteed win. Back when Coleman was wrestling full time, his wrestling accomplishments and skill is probably an order of magnitude above Brock's best days but he's 43 and he's already been through some wars so Brock's got the physical advantage. And even when coleman was in his fighting prime, he'd have issues with gassing out quickly... that and Hammer House still seems stuck in the late 90s/early 00s and never seem to broaden their training scope (most of those guys seem to lose to sub a lot).
I agree that brock is done in the ufc if he loses to coleman, but he's probably not done in MMA... unless he pussies out again refuses to step back and cut his teeth in the minors like he did when he couldn't cut it in the Vikings.
Brock's got all the physical tools to make it, he just needs the proper training and experience. He's an undoubted draw that could mean big bucks for UFC.
